She was predeceased by: her parent Doshie Buff Fourshee; her husband Jack Spivey; her son Shane Spivey; and her siblings, Dwight Fourshee, Betty Bowers and Judy Warlick.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rachel Fredell (Ricky) of Cherryville and Wendella Southers (Michael) of Lincolnton; her sister Brenda Taylor of Lincolnton; and her grandchildren, Maranda Rorie (Joseph), David Cahill (Kristin), Lee Broome (Heather) and Laney Topken (Erick). She is also survived by twenty-two great-grandchildren.
