She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Kenneth Powell and Sadie Elizabeth Goins McMurray; her daughter Ashley Duncan; and her siblings, Ted Goins, Linda Chambers, Jane Carpenter and Patricia Carpenter.
She is survived by: her children, Marty Hallman (Pamela) of Lincolnton and Amanda Collins of Denver; her sisters, Helen Carpenter of Lincolnton, Christine Auton of Lincolnton, Carolyn Heafner of Lincolnton and Wanda Adams of Missouri; her grandchildren, Neely Miller (Arthur), Jennifer Hallman, Sadie Hallman, Noah Queen and Madelyn Collins; and her great grandchild Hazel Miller.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel (125 Dave Warlick Dr, Lincolnton, NC 28092).
