He is survived by: his wife Silvia Hoyle Allison; his children, Jason Riley Allison (Hope McLaughlin) of Boone, NC, Joshua Benjamin Allison (Jennifer Mulkey) of Lincolnton and Summer Leah Allison of Lincolnton; his siblings, Patricia A. Arrowood (Ray) of Nebo, Michael Allison (Brenda) of Nebo, NC, Judy A. Ezell (Delburn) of Duncan, SC, Becky A. Wilkerson (Jerry) of Six Mile, SC and Thomas Allison (Sharon) of Cyril, OK; and his grandchildren, Riley Allison, Ryder Allison, Cooper Allison and Cohen Allison.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christian Ministry of Lincoln County, PO Box 423, Lincolnton, NC 28093-0423, or "He Is Worthy" c/o Westport Baptist Church, 2372 Lake Shore Road, South, Denver, NC 28037.
