He was predeceased by: his mother Rebecca Hensley (Smith); and his siblings, Chad Hensley, Gail Hensley, William Hensley and Janice Womble.
He is survived by: his father Jack Hensley; his wife Cynthia Sue Hensley; his children, Amber George (Ryan), Derrick Hensley (Audrey) and Melissa Leonard (Jerry); his brothers, Randy Hensley and Darrell Hensley; and his grandchildren, Blake, Harrison, Addison, Georgina, Marina, Rebecca and Brooke. He is also survived by his family, friends.
The lying in state was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Bethel Baptist Church (200 Bethel Church Rd, Lincolnton, NC 28092). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials will be made to Bethel Baptist Youth building fund 200 Bethel Church Rd, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
