He was predeceased by: his parents, Rickard B. Cronland, Jr. and Louise Sistar Cronland. He is survived by: his wife Myna Houser Cronland; his sons, Rickard Garland Cronland (Sonya) of Gastonia and Roderick Lavant Cronland of Lincolnton; and his grandchildren, R. B. Cronland and Caroline Cronland.
