With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rebecca Cox Grier (Lincolnton, North Carolina), born in Macon, Georgia, who passed away on November 7, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Carey Cox and Dorothy Lee Cox. She is survived by: her husband George W. Grier, III; her children, David Dean Grier of Shelby, Katherine G. Smith (Tom) of Knoxville, TN, Laura and Mooresville; her sister Dorothy Kitty C. Peters of Dacula, GA; and her grandchildren, Emily Kaitlin Smith and Sydney Jessica Smith.
