He was predeceased by: his parent Shirley Mae Farris. He is survived by: his wife Amy Schrum Farris; his children, Brian Gantt (Rhonda) of Vale, Angie Hallman (Conrad) of Vale and Melinda Deon of Lincolnton; and his siblings, Marvin Farris of Lincolnton, Thelma Rudisill (Larry) of Lincolnton, Dainty Perry of Lincolnton and Karen Rodriquez of Georgetown, TX. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
