She is survived by: her daughter Rheamia Nixon Burns (Derek) of Murrieta, California; her grandchildren, Samaria Burns and Ensign Winston Burns of Norfolk; her son-in-law Derek Burns; her siblings, Gracie Nixon Barnes (Rayford) of Gastonia, NC, Dr. Linda Nixon Hudson (Randy) of Charlotte, NC and Calvin Nixon (Vada) of Newton, NC; and her sisters-in-law, Linda S. Nixon and Florence Nixon. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
