He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Chapman and Irene Lineberger Chapman Finger; and his son Johnny Paul Chapman. He is survived by: his siblings, Barbara Champion of Kings Mountain and David Chapman of Hickory; and his caregiver Glenda Miller. He is also survived by family; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
