She was predeceased by: her parents, E. Clyde Ramsey and Lottie Lail Ramsey; her husband Johnnie Gaddis; her former husband Donald E. Jones, Sr.; her stepmother Juanita Ramsey; and her siblings, Ronnie Ramsey, Edgar Ramsey and Patricia Rogers.
She is survived by: her children, Donald E. Jones, Jr. (Tina Scott), Scott Gaddis, Lisa Herman (Kenny) of Lincolnton, NC and Sandy Campion (Jim) of Kings Mountain, NC; and her siblings, Gene, Jim Ramsey, Carolyn West, Karen Ramsey, Darlene Ramsey and Linda Sheldon (Ted). She is also survived by nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia (700 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054). A graveside service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gaston County EMS.
