She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Monroe Foil and Callie Barger Foil; and her husband Arnold Conner. She is survived by: her children, David Conner (Ruthie) of Vale, Mary Ann Detter (Ricky) of Lincolnton and Kim Gates (Harvey) of Lincolnton; her sisters, Bernice Allen of Marion, VA and Nancy Skinner of Hickory; her grandchildren, Russell Conner (Erin), Callie Carpenter (Billy), Jeremy Detter (Hannah) and Jeffrey Detter; and her great grandchildren, Logan Carpenter (Carson), Caleb Carpenter, Amelia Detter and Lucy Detter.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:45 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Redemption Outreach Center (700 Lithia Inn Rd, Lincolnton, NC 28092). A burial was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (2858 NC-150, Lincolnton, NC 28092).
