He is survived by: his wife Linda Dellinger Byrd; his sons, Alan Byrd (Lenora) of Iron Station, Jeff Byrd of Lincolnton and Kevin Byrd (Beth) of Iron Station; and his grandchildren, Alicia, Brandon, Jessica, Nikki, Elliot, Katelyn and Heather. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
