It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norman Dean High of Lincolnton, North Carolina, born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on July 23, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Norman Dean may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Norman Dean touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Norman High and Eula Mae Poteat High; his wife Sharon Fore High; his son Derrick High; and his brothers, L. H. High, A. G. High and Marvin High.
He is survived by: his children, Piper High of Newton and Curtis High of Southern Pines; and his brother Donald High of Gastonia.
