She was predeceased by: her parents, John Alfred Kale and Sudie Parker Kale; her husband Billy Gene Keever; and her sister Faye (Gary Ray). She is survived by: her daughter LaDonna Michael (Hugh Doc); her siblings, Martha Mullen (Neil) of Lincolnton and Jack Kale (Ann) of Lincolnton; her grandsons, Billy Jacob Michael (Marilyn) of Iron Station and Jason Michael (Jodi) of Rock Hill, SC; and her great grandchildren, Logan Michael, Chloe Michael and Lucas Michael. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
