She was predeceased by: her parents, Clefford Carpenter and Mary Ellen Kiser Carpenter; her husband Jack Reeves Lineberger; her granddaughter Keri Ellen Carpenter; and her son Andrew Lineberger.

She is survived by: her daughters, Wanda Corriher (Bill) of Boone and Patricia Carpenter Hass (Calvin) of Bessemer City; her brother James Carpenter of Mississippi; her grandchildren, Erin Adams, Amy Corriher and Daniel Corriher; her great grandchildren, Blaise Shiver, Ella Grace Adams, River Adams and Jackson Corriher; her nephew Scott; and her nieces, Judy and Jerri.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM at the Landers Chapel United Methodist Church. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
