Nellie Young Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 20, 2018 we had to say goodbye to Nellie Young (Lincolnton, North Carolina). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Winthrop Quinn and Nellie Quinn. She is survived by: her brother William Quinn of Lee, MA; her daughter Tracy Beliveau; her son-in-law Derek Beliveau of Albuquerque, NM.; her sons, Nathan Young of Lincolnton, NC and Joshua Young; her daughter-in-law Cheryl Young of Tell City, IN.; her grandchildren, Brandi, Candus, Nevin, Tracy, Emerald, Hannah, Josh and Samuel; her great grandchild Chase Decelles; and also, Nicole Quinn and Thomas Quinn. She is also survived by mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, community volunteer and friend.

Susie always said to her family, "Why do people always send you flowers when you die, instead of sending you flowers when you're alive?" With this in mind and as a way to honor Susie's memory, her family requests that in lieu of flowers or donations that you reach out to the people around you and perform acts of kindness.
