She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Lee and Georgia Eckard Frye; her husband Ted Leroy Gilliam, Sr.; her brothers, Kenneth Frye, Robert Frye and Larry Frye; and her granddaughter April Ramsey.
She is survived by: her children, Ted Gilliam (Jean), May Huffman (Ron) and Job Gilliam; her siblings, Priscilla Carswell, Gary Frye and David Frye; her grandchildren, Misty Bell, Josh Gilliam, Heather Shuford, Jessica Lynch, Monica Clonch, Justin Gilliam, Savannah Bryant, Ty Gilliam, Madison Gilliam, Zachariah Gilliam and Kendra Gilliam; and her great grandchildren, Caleb Huffman, Austin Marlow, Trinity Marlow, Gabriel Ramsey, Daniel Ramsey, Adaleigh Lynch, Makayla Gilliam, Aden Gilliam, Trevor Shuford, Ryley Shuford, Brentley Minton, Sawyer Minton and Anissa Price. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gospel Baptist Church in Nellie's name.
