She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard J. McRorie and Myrtle Hampton McRorie; her sons, Robert Joe Barnes and Roderick Shane Barnes; and her granddaughter Michelle Taylor Platt.
She is survived by: her husband Rodney Douglas Ross; and her children, Michael Delinger (Donna) of Clover, SC, Ronda Phillips of Lincolnton, Tonya Recore (Michael) of Bessemer City and Sandy Barnes. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Warlick Funeral Home (125 Dave Warlick Dr, Lincolnton, NC 28092). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel (125 Dave Warlick Dr, Lincolnton, NC 28092).
