She was predeceased by: her parents, William Burton "W. B." Payseur and Mary Warlick Payseur; her son Michael Burgin; her husband George Burgin; and her siblings, Robert "Bob" Payseur, Rev. Marshall Weaver, Craig Weaver, William Burton Payseur, Jr. and Mary "Pris" Weaver Mauney.
She is survived by: her children, William "Bill" Burgin (Julie) of Denver, NC and Diane Burgin Homesley (Hal) of Waleska, GA; her grandchildren, James "Jamey" Homesley (Taylor Rae), Jessica Homesley King (Lexi) and Jacob "Jay" Burgin; her siblings, Shirley Fawcett and Jerry Payseur (Doris); and her sister-in-law Pauline Payseur.
