She was predeceased by: her parents, Garl C. Malone and Mackie Blackwell Malone; her husband David Emerson; and her siblings, Edna, James, Bobbie Jo, Hack, Ditz, Robert and Billie Sue.
She is survived by: her son Eric Emerson (Kimberly Ingle); her grandchildren, Haley Faith Emerson and Alex Emerson; and her brother Jack Malone of Spartanburg, SC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
