It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nancy Aliene Malone Emerson (Lincolnton, North Carolina), born in Greenwood, South Carolina, who passed away on November 17, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Garl C. Malone and Mackie Blackwell Malone; her husband David Emerson; and her siblings, Edna, James, Bobbie Jo, Hack, Ditz, Robert and Billie Sue.

She is survived by: her son Eric Emerson (Kimberly Ingle); her grandchildren, Haley Faith Emerson and Alex Emerson; and her brother Jack Malone of Spartanburg, SC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
