It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Milton Lyndell Bowen (Lincolnton, North Carolina), who passed away on October 14, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Thurman and Ruth Sims Bowen; and his sisters, Daisy, Judy, Nancy and Irma.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn A. Bowen; his sons, Joseph Bryant Bowen (Ida) of Albemarle, NC and Brett Gatlin Bowen (Yadira Lopez) of Lowell, NC; his siblings, Wiley Bowen of Dunn, NC, Jim Bowen, Lee Bowen of Matthews, NC and Janice Mathers; and his grandchildren, April Mullis (Jon), Alex Bowen (Jodi), Garrett Bowen, Nathan Bowen and Fatima Bowen.
