We are sad to announce that on July 31, 2021, at the age of 57, Michael Thomas Blanton of Lincolnton, North Carolina, born in Arlington, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Levie Woodrow Blanton and Marie DelPiano Blanton of Catawba. He is survived by: his son David F. Walthall (Ashleigh Burchman) of Fredericksburg, VA; his sister Mary F. Delwiche (David) of Denver; his grandchild Bentley Michael Walthall; and his nephews, Justin Lee Sherman-Delwiche of Denver, NC, Sean Anthony Delwiche of Denver, NC and Raymond Michael Delwiche of Denver, NC.
