With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Ray Johnson of Lincolnton, North Carolina, who passed away on July 23, 2020 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Johnson and Maude Bentley Johnson; and his siblings, Billy Johnson, Bob Johnson, Johnny Johnson, Carolyn Howard, Rachel Ballinger, Reba Goodman and Eulalia Crump.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Kaye Hughes Johnson; his son Jesse Cavender Johnson; his stepchildren, Phillip Cavender of South Carolina, Dwayne Baker of Taylorsville, Monica Wheeler of Conover and Kimberly Lutz of Lincolnton; and his siblings, Ronnie Johnson of Hickory and Sue Johnson of Myrtle Beach, SC. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
