He is survived by: his wife Regena Crawley; his daughter Michelle Rainey of Maiden; his stepdaughters, Renee King (Tim) of Florida, Shirley LaDrew of Lincolnton and Sheila (Leroy) of Alabama; and his sister Cynthia C. Brooks (David A. Brooks Sr.) of Lincolnton. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews.
