She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Banks and Nanlee Banks; her children, Charlie and Elizabeth; her grandchildren, Veronica and Cameron "Candyball"; and her great grandchildren, Azi'yon, Ina'cent, Qua'Jaue and Kahari.
She is survived by: her children, Jackie, Dean (Mildred), Marshall, Bobby, Shelby, Sandra (Demetrius) and Cher; and her siblings, Annie Ruth Mcllwain, Teresa Banks Whitman (Greg) and Sammy Banks. She is also survived by twenty-eight grandchildren, sixty-four great-grandchildren.
