With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Carpenter Banner of Lincolnton, North Carolina, who passed away on May 3, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Carpenter Sr. and Alice Haga Carpenter; and her siblings, Cecil Carpenter, Earl Lee Carpenter Jr. and Louise C. Banner.

She is survived by: her children, Randy Banner (Cathy) of Conover and Julie Green (Bryan) of Rocky Mount; her sister Barbara Daniels (Joe) of Newland; and her grandchildren, Matthew Banner (Jane) of Arlington, MA, Christina Pettus (Casey) of Lincolnton, Jonathan Banner of Newton, Landon Green of Rocky Mount and Cassidy Green of Rocky Mount.
