With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Martha Alice Messer Christopher (Lincolnton, North Carolina), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Martha Alice Messer left this world on February 24, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Messer and Martha Dorsey Messer Brigmon; her husband James Robert Christopher; her son Terry Helton; her great grandchild MaKenna Warlick; and her stepfather Carl Brigmon.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Helton (Sandra) of Denver, Shaun Helton of Harmony, Karen Kelley of West Virginia and Kenneth Christopher (Barbara) of Lincolnton; and her brother Bob Messer of Gastonia. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Amity Baptist Church Cemetery (881 Amity Church Rd, Denver, NC 28037).
