It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marshall Whitesides (Lincolnton, North Carolina), who passed away on May 23, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Whitesides and Mary Whitesides; his wife Zettie Whitesides; his siblings, James Jr., Thurman, Calvin, Wayne and Thelma; and his grandson David Lee.

He is survived by: his children, Jeanette Huffman (Darrell) of Lincolnton, Renee Page (Norris) of Ellenboro, Robin Newton (Rick) of Lincolnton and David Whitesides of Lincolnton. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter.
