It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mark Feaston Polk (Lincolnton, North Carolina), who passed away on March 26, 2023, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Clyde Feaston Polk. He is survived by: his mother Kaye Hayes Sims of Lincolnton; his stepfather Max Sims; his sister Sherri Polk LaPorte (Howard) of Maine; his stepsisters, Sonya Garmon (Joe) of Lincolnton and Carrie Russell (Skip); his uncles, Johnny Hayes (Carol) of Raleigh and Mike Hayes (Laurie) of California; his caregiver Sandy Shannon of Monroe; and also, Joseph Garmon (Ashley) of Lincolnton, Peyton of Lincolnton, Saylor of Lincolnton, Bailey Garmon of Lincolnton, Austen and Sidney of Lincolnton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
