It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marion Alice Sayre (Lincolnton, North Carolina), born in Homosassa, Florida, who passed away on January 25, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Edson and Helen Edson; her husband Charles Sayre; her siblings, William and Jean Smithka; and her granddaughter Darlene Sayre.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Sarvey of Lincolnton, NC, Ronald Sayre (Gail) of Equinunk, PA and Thomas Sayre (Nancy) of Owego, NY; her grandchildren, Lee Sayre, Charles Sayre, Jeremy Sayre, Bruce Sundgren, Christopher Sayre and Ashley Sayre; and her great grandchildren, Greyson Sundgren, Michael, Easton Sayre, Chaz, Caroline Sayre and Summer Sayre. She is also survived by mother raising three children and was very involved with her grandchildren.
