She was predeceased by: her parents, Josie Owens (Cameron) and Earl Owens; and her husband Loyd "Buddy" Nease Sisk. She is survived by: her son Jack Valentine (Ginger); and her granddaughters, Kayla McSwain (A. J.) and Savannah Lutz (Caleb).

The family requests that in lieu of flowers that donations be made in Margaret's name to her church, Stanley First Free Will Baptist Church, 402 Hovis Road, Stanley, NC 28164.
