She was predeceased by: her father Reginald Paul Maag; her husband William Lee Chapman, Sr.; her sons, William Lee Chapman, Jr. and Richard Lee Chapman; and her siblings, Lucille, Violet, Bud and Welda.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Kelly Ambrose, William Lee Chapman III, Chelsea Chichester, Jimeigh Howard Lee Chapman, Milonne Kyle, Courtney Chapman, Brittney Chapman and Sam Mark Lee Chapman; her sister-in-law Louise Pope; and her nieces and nephews, Steve Chapman, Montrece Chapman and Terry Chapman. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
