He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Cianflone Fredell; his children, Brian Jordan, Ray Fredell, Richard Lenox, Kenneth Lenox, David Dillard and Teressa McCarter; and his brother Coy Fredell. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.

“Manuel was my uncle. In April of 2023 we were at the funeral of an aunt. Manuel and I were talking and we both agreed that we wished Jesus would come that very day and take us home to heaven. He didn't come that day, but now uncle Manuel is with loved ones, and in the very presence of Jesus in heaven!! Jesus is coming back very soon. Brenda”
