She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Odell Mayfield Sr. and Mable Brown Mayfield; and her siblings, Samuel O. Mayfield Jr., Edward Mayfield, John Charles Mayfield and Beulah Martin.
She is survived by: her husband Aaron Bennett; her son Jay Bennett (Patrice); and her grandchildren, Kiarra, Jayda, Madilyn and Madison Bennett.
