She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustavis Baker and Ophelia Oliver Baker; her husband David; and her siblings, Doug Baker and Doris Guiton.

She is survived by: her sister Chloe B. Stines of Lincolnton; and her stepson Mac McConnell. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
