She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Columbus and Eula Bess Sain; her husband Larry David Hawkins; and her siblings, Norris Sain, Pete Sain, Clyde Sain, Jr., Jimmy Sain, Carroll Claude Sain, Bernice Callahan and Louise Peeler.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Hawkins of Lincolnton and Debbie Hawkins of Lincolnton; her sisters, Brenda Heavner of Lincolnton and Ethel "Butch" Warlick (Gene) of Vale; her grandchildren, Brennon Hawkins, Sydni Hawkins, Grayson Hawkins, Cory Gates (Raven) and Aaron Gates (Macie); and her great grandchildren, Zoey Gates, Abigail Gates, Andy Gates, Benton Gates and Sutton Gates.
