It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard Lee Helton Sr. of Lincolnton, North Carolina, who passed away on October 14, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henderson Helton and Eulene Dellinger Helton. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine; his sons, Tim Helton (Tracy) and Leonard Lee Helton, Jr.; his brother Allen Helton (Doris); his grandchildren, Aleigha Tucker (Marc), Morgan Knight, Alexa Helton, Haley Helton, Garrett Helton, EJ Merritt, Reanna Rosetti, Destiny Schronce and Ashley Hulcey; and his great grandchildren, Connor and Alaya. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
