It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leah Beach Messick (Lincolnton, North Carolina), who passed away on April 29, 2022, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Shular Talmage Messick; and her siblings, John Henry Messick, Bina Fay Messick, Marylee Trammell, William Holden Messick and Gene Edward Messick.
She is survived by: her brother Victor Hamilton Messick (Laura Bowman-Messick) of Sherrills Ford; her nieces, Linda Howard of Mint Hill, Barbara Mangum (Greg) of Matthews and Karen Prather of Lenoir; and her nephew Brian Hamilton Messick (Sheila) of Charlotte. She is also survived by other nieces and nephews, and other great-nieces and nephews.
