He was predeceased by: his father John Franklin Keever; his son Jeff; his siblings, Bill Keever, Carrol Keever, David Keever, Jerry Keever, Natha Lee Meeks, Alma Robinson, Betty Sain Brandenburg and Pat Houser; and his stepmother Nancy Sain Keever.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Scronce Keever; and his siblings-in-law, Carolyn Scronce of Lincolnton, Norma Keever of Iron Station, Audrey Keever of Lincolnton, Elaine Keever of Lincolnton, Shirley Perkins of Iron Station, Jim Houser of Iron Station, Eddie Perkins of Iron Station and Jimmy Scronce of Iron Station. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
