It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katie Byers Williams of Lincolnton, North Carolina, who passed away on March 14, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Byers and Sarah Carpenter Byers; her husband Lester Elliott Williams; her daughter Darlene Elmore; and her siblings, Claude Byers, John Byers, Isabell Faulkner and Ella Mae Ramsey.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Beth Cain of Lincolnton and Travis Elmore (Candace) of Vale; her great grandchildren, Jacob Cain of Lincolnton, Easton, Silas Elmore of Vale and Layla Cain of Lincolnton; and her sister Katherine Keever of Lincolnton.
