She was predeceased by: her parents, Otho Ross Blackwood and Virginia Adelaide White Blackwood; and her brother James Blackwood. She is survived by: her husband Charles Edward Holland; her daughters, Jennifer Gilmore-Carson (Rodney) of Cary, N. C. and Cheryl Mills (Rudy) of Clayton, N. C.; her grandchildren, Holland, Hannah, Zach Mills, Cameron, Carsyn Gilmore, Alex and Katie Carson; her nephew Jeff Blackwood; her great-nephew Jeff Evans; and her aunt Bobbie White Moore. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
