With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joy Agnes Goodson Stiles Brewster (Lincolnton, North Carolina), who passed away on September 17, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John H. Goodson and Lillian Agnes Bynum Goodson; her former husband Harley Stiles; her husband Lonnie Brewster; and her siblings, John "Bud" Goodson, Jr., Virginia Martin, Mary Rozzelle and Louise Engle.

She is survived by: her children, Alan Stiles (Paula) of Crouse and Kim Stamey (Mark) of Lincolnton; her grandchildren, Haley Stamey of Lincolnton and Aaron Stamey (Natalie) of Charlotte; and her great grandchild Charlotte Stamey.
