He was predeceased by: his parents, John William Rollins and Agnes Ruth Tinker Rollins; and his son John Rollins. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Bost Rollins; his children, Sloan Rollins of Lincolnton and Wendy R. Hovis (Mike) of Lincolnton; his daughter-in-law Wendy Rollins of Lincolnton; his siblings, Randy Rollins of Lincolnton and Jeannie Jones of Lincolnton; his grandchildren, Corbin Hovis (Holly), Allison Hovis Buchanan (Michael), Shelby Rollins Barkley (Jared) and Seth Rollins; and his great grandchildren, Isaiah Hovis and Tenley Hovis.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
