It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Richard Johnson (Lincolnton, North Carolina), born in Raleigh, North Carolina, who passed away on August 18, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcolm Johnson and Estelle Moore. He is survived by: his wife Mary Butler Johnson; his daughters, Tracey Johnson (Mark Lovvorn) of Ramseur and Cameron Wilson (Rich) of Sherrills Ford; his grandsons, Luke Wilson and Abel Wilson; and his siblings, Betty Lou Bizzelle of Raleigh and Walter Johnson of Raleigh.
