He is survived by: his daughters, Pamela Carpenter Mixon of Lincolnton, NC and Tammy Carpenter Blanco (Luis) of Pikeville, NC; his grandchildren, Kristy Meadows (William) of Lincolnton, NC, Christopher Moody of Lincolnton, NC, Joshua Carpenter of Lincolnton, NC, Jonathan Carpenter of Lincolnton, NC, Matthew Carpenter (Ashley) of Lincolnton, NC and Kelly Carpenter of Lincolnton, NC; his great grandchildren, Katelyn Hopper, Kassidy Bravo, Kylie Bravo, Maisley Meadows, Ayda Carpenter, Maxxon Carpenter, Rhilynn Carpenter, Madilyn Ballard and Makayla Ballard; and his great great grandchildren, Aaralyn Jones, Emberleigh Bravo, Prince Sadler and Rosaleigh Hovis.
