He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Wesley and Mary Catherine Cash Butler. He is survived by: his wife Sonya Tench Butler; his children, Tiffany Butler Haggerty (John) and Derek Bradley Hooper; his grandchildren, Allison Victoria Figueroa, Alexandria Marie Figueroa, Luke Wesley Haggerty, John Lewis Haggerty, III and Emma Faith Haggerty; his sister Cathy Butler Beeker (Mark); and his pet Lindy. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
