She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Helton and Elvie Richards Helton; and her husband Bobby Earl Cook. She is survived by: her children, Robbie Cook of Lincolnton and Tammie Moore (Eddie) of Lincolnton; her siblings, Eddie Helton of Gastonia, Jimmy Helton of Tennessee, Dorothy Vernon of Gastonia and Rosie Shores of Georgia; and her grandchildren, Brandon Moore (Bailey), Stephen Moore (Jasmine), Carla Colony (Erik) and Jimmy Sisk. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
