It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jimmie Lee Sigmon of Lincolnton, North Carolina, born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on March 9, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Eugene Sigmon and Vida Mauney Sigmon; his wife Deanne Cooke Sigmon; and his daughter Suzanne Sigmon. He is survived by: his children, Patrick Sigmon (Nina) of Crouse, Tammy Sigmon Holliday (Steve) of Westminster, SC and Jane Reeside of Concord; his siblings, Tim Sigmon (Becky) of Cherryville, Martel Sigmon of Cherryville and Patricia Sigmon Schubert (Larry) of Charlotte; and his grandchildren, Joshua Holliday (Sally), Jacob Holliday (Tara), Shannon Sigmon Williams (Chad), Lindsey Sigmon Pruett (Mark), Will Reeside (Anna), Drew Reeside (Loren), Alex Reeside, Chelsea Brooks (Matthew), Alyssa Bumgardner and Britni Bumgardner. He is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren.
