We are sad to announce that on November 29, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Jerry Wayne Talbot of Lincolnton, North Carolina, born in Cumberland, Maryland. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Steiner Talbot and Roy Clifton Talbot; his wife Brenda Joyce Talbot; and his sisters, Alberta Miles and Charlene Rymond.

He is survived by: his sons, Jerry Talbot, Jeff Talbot (Challe) of Boone and Roy Talbot (Traci) of Spartanburg, SC.; his grandchildren, Jerry Talbot III of Lincolnton, Jason Talbot (Heather) of Sinclair, Shane Talbot (Evie) of Lenoir and Bella Talbot of Spartanburg, SC; and his great grandchildren, Nathaniel and Raelynn Talbot (Brenda Carnes) of Maine. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Due to the current pandemic, there will be a private graveside service Tuesday December 1st at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Pastor Michael White of Freedom Church.

“To the family and friends of Jerry, I am so sorry to read of Jerry's passing. There are simply no words to describe the sadness and loss of dear friend. Jerry was truly a one of a kind person. I know he will be missed by his family and friends. I loved Jerry like a father. We had many long conversations over the phone for many years. They all ended with "I love you" by each of us.
