With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerry Lee Samuel McSwain (Lincolnton, North Carolina), born in Cleveland, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 26, 2024 at the age of 79. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Walker and Arzie Lee Dover McSwain; and his siblings, Ed McSwain, Don McSwain, Bobby McSwain and Jeanette Armstrong.
He is survived by: his wife Cathey Tucker McSwain; his children, Roger McSwain (Paula) of Lincolnton, NC, Wesley McSwain (Marcy) of Lincolnton, NC and Tracy Williams (Joey) of Lincolnton, NC; and his siblings-in-law, Everett Tucker of Lincolnton, NC, Gene Tucker (Angie) of Maiden, NC and Susan Tucker of Lincolnton, NC. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren.
